TERMS OF SERVICE

MatchSport® is a sports-first social platform that allows you to:

• Create a profile with sports interests and photos
• Discover and match with nearby users
• Chat one-to-one with mutual matches
• Use PlayNow! to find or create pickup games
• Join Game Room private group rooms with group chat
• Join Groups / Squads / Clubhouse: permanent group rooms, organized games, and rebook
• Share invite links (including QR codes) to fill open slots
• Optional Premium features (travel mode, advanced Discover filters, incoming likes, and other benefits as shown in the app)
• Some features may require identity verification (see Privacy Policy)

MatchSport® facilitates connections and games. We are not a sports club, venue operator, event organizer, insurer, or employment agency.

The service is aimed primarily at users aged 18 or over in Spain (Madrid as the initial market). MatchSport® does not actively commercialize the service in France at this time.

To use MatchSport® you must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate information (name, date of birth, phone number, etc.)
• Complete phone verification (SMS one-time code)
• Accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy (required checkbox)
• Upload profile photos as required by the onboarding flow

Account security: You are responsible for activity on your account. Notify support@matchsport.app immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. One account per person.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You must not harass others, post illegal content, use fake identities, spam, scrape, use bots, circumvent Premium or security controls, or organize illegal activities through the app.

4.1 Discovery and matches

Matching uses preferences you set (age range, proximity, shared sports). Free and Premium tiers have different limits as shown in the app.

4.2 One-to-one chat

Available between mutual matches. Messages are processed and stored to provide the chat service.

4.3 Game Room group chat

Available to Game Room members. Same community rules apply.

5.1 PlayNow!

Creating or activating private Play Now matchmaking requires Premium (or limited free slots if the app shows them). You may view the activation screen; effective creation may require Premium, identity verification, and location permission per server rules.

Play Now in Discover acts as a featured like; it is different from creating a private game. Games are organized at your own risk.

5.2 Joining games

Requires a registered account, server validation (open slot, valid invite, room status, proximity rules where applicable), and location permission where required.

5.3 Invite links

https://matchsport.app/join?gameId=…&token=…. Links such as https://matchsport.app/join?gameId=…&token=…; tokens are private and the website does not grant room access without the app.

5.4 Physical meetups

You meet and play sports at your own risk. MatchSport® is not responsible for injuries, property damage, or conduct at physical venues.

6.1 Price

Premium is a monthly auto-renewing subscription. The price that applies is the one shown in the app, on the App Store (iOS), or at Stripe checkout (Android) at purchase (VAT included where applicable). As a reference, the standard monthly price may be shown between €5.99 and €12.99/month depending on platform and current offer; for example, a promotional first month at €5.99 with a subsequent standard price (e.g. up to €12.99/month) if StoreKit or Stripe shows it to an eligible user. The price on screen in the store or checkout always prevails. Introductory offers apply only if shown to an eligible user; we do not guarantee promos for everyone. We do not offer an annual plan unless it explicitly appears in the store.

6.2 Payment processors

iOS: Apple In-App Purchase (monthly auto-renewing subscription). Apple processes payment; MatchSport® does not store full card data.

Android: Stripe, Inc. (Payment Link / Checkout / customer portal). MatchSport® does not store full card data.

6.3 Renewal, cancellation, and management

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled on the platform where you subscribed.

iOS: cancel or manage in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or from the app via Settings → Manage subscription / Profile → Premium → Manage subscription (opens App Store management or active paywall state).

Android: Stripe customer portal from the app where available.

After cancelling, you keep Premium access until the end of the current paid billing period.

iOS: the Restore purchases button restores the Apple subscription linked to the same MatchSport® account.

6.3 bis Apple account linking

One Apple subscription (originalTransactionId) is linked to one MatchSport® account only. You cannot restore the same subscription on another account; contact support@matchsport.app if you change phone or account.

6.3 ter Expired Premium / reactivate

If the subscription expires, you lose Premium benefits and may see a Reactivate Premium option on the paywall.

6.4 Refunds

Refunds are governed by applicable law and Apple or Stripe policies. For billing errors, contact support@matchsport.app within 14 days.

6.5 Free or promotional Premium (not a paid subscription)

Some users may receive temporary Premium without payment. This does not replace a paid subscription and does not auto-renew into a paid plan unless the user separately subscribes.

Pioneer VIP / Pioneer Pass: limited campaign (club cards #582–#1500). After approved selfie verification, users may receive 60 days (2 months) of free Premium via referralPremiumUntil. This is not a paid subscription; there is no auto-renewal. When the grant ends, the user may voluntarily subscribe. The app may show “Free Premium until {date}” / “No auto-renewal”.

Referrals: invite-friends programme; X verified referrals may grant 1 month of free Premium per current in-app logic.

Partner codes: promotional partner codes may grant temporary Premium; conditions are shown at redemption.

We may use your approximate location to show you nearby users and games. We never collect or store your exact coordinates. Your approximate location is not shown to other users as coordinates; they may see a city or area, and in discovery an approximate distance in km. Technical details are in the Privacy Policy.

You may use MatchSport® without biometric verification, with a Not verified badge and a limited daily profile allowance (likes and chat remain available). Some higher-trust features (e.g. Play Now) may require identity verification.

Some paid Premium features (Apple or Stripe subscription) require a verified account (approved selfie) before completing purchase or activating Premium (verification_required on the server). Verification may increase trust and reach but does not guarantee user safety or identity at physical meetups.

9.1 Community standards and zero tolerance

MatchSport® has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

This includes harassment, hate speech, sexual or explicit content, spam, threats, scams, and abusive behaviour. It applies to all user-generated content on the service, including profile text and photos, one-to-one chat, Play Now! listings, and Game Room group chat.

Prohibited conduct also includes fake identities, underage use, sharing other users' personal data without consent, commercial spam, bots or automation, and any illegal activity.

9.2 Reporting, blocking, and enforcement

You can report users and content and block other users through in-app tools at any time. When you report a user, they are blocked from contacting you while we review the report.

We review reports and typically act within 24 hours. Depending on severity and repeated violations, we may remove content, issue warnings, suspend accounts, or impose a permanent ban.

10.1 Ownership of the app, brand, UI, and technology

The MatchSport® mobile application and related services — including user interface, visual design, branding, software, databases, and underlying technology (excluding third-party components) — are owned by Olvexis App SL (the legal operator).

You retain ownership of content you upload but grant the Operator a non-exclusive license to host, display, process, and moderate it to operate the service.

10.2 Trademarks

You may not use any MatchSport® or Olvexis App SL marks for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Sport names, venue names, league or federation marks, and other third-party brands shown in the app remain the property of their respective owners.

11.1 By you

You may delete your account in Settings or see /delete-account.

• Closure is immediate; you have a 7-day window to restore the account before permanent deletion.
• After permanent deletion, data is removed per the Privacy Policy.
• Stripe (Android): deleting your account cancels the associated Stripe subscription.
• Apple IAP (iOS): closing your MatchSport® account does not cancel Apple billing; you must cancel in App Store → Subscriptions.

11.2 By MatchSport®

We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, fraud, repeated reports, underage use, or non-payment.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee matches, game attendance, user behaviour, or physical safety at meetups.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MATCHSPORT® IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR USER CONDUCT OR OFFLINE MEETUPS.

Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to MatchSport® in the 12 months before the claim. Mandatory consumer rights under EU law are not limited.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, with courts in Madrid having jurisdiction for EU users unless mandatory consumer law in your country requires otherwise.

Nothing limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable US federal or state consumer protection laws. US arbitration clause requires legal review before heavy US marketing - contact support@matchsport.app for disputes.

Your use of sign-in providers, payment processors, cloud infrastructure, and external maps is subject to those providers’ respective terms. MatchSport® is not responsible for third-party outages or policies. Processors are listed in the Privacy Policy.

16.1 Weather data

Home weather and Athlete Lens use third-party meteorological data for sports orientation only. It is not an official weather warning or medical advice.
